To
give you a "taste of Orkney" our chefs source fresh local produce
such as seafood, beef and lamb, then create a unique menu to suit all
palates, from a lunch time snack of cheeses, bannocks and oatcakes to
a supper of homemade steak pie in flakey pastry to full a la carte dinner
of beef carpacio, hand dived Scapa Flow scallops, followed by our famous
fudge and whiskey cheesecake, finished off with a dram from our extensive
malt whiskey selection. Meals
are served in the Tudor Lounge and our non-smoking harbour view restaurant.
"In a calm smoke-free restaurant, we were served one of the
most perfect meals I've enjoyed for a long time."

"The view from the hotel, over the lobster boats towards the
Island of Shapinsay,
is
quite simply stunning, as is the food served up by the hotel's restaurant.
The hotel's talented chefs, George Lawrie and Amanda McLean are committed
to using local produce whereever possible. Dinner here is a treat."
